Without doubt, one of the best ways to meet new mountain bikers (or perhaps have a reunion!) is to join us on our weekend breaks. Fantastic riding for all abilities, some hints and tips if required and a guaranteed cracking good time, and all for £119!

We've organised good pub and local B&B accommodation for two nights, with evening meals for both nights, plus guides/mechanics to ensure a smooth weekend. Additionally, for those travelling long distances we will gladly arrange rail/transfers to and from the venue, saving you the hassle of a long drive and leaving you stress free and raring to go! We can also provide bikes if you wish to avoid the hassle of travelling with yours.

*Should you wish to demo a particular model it’s a good chance to try a Titus, Rocky Mountain, Turner, Cove or Santa Cruz!

Upgrades to better accommodation can be requested at certain venues subject to availability. If in doubt contact us as we know each venue inside out!

These weekends are a great way to meet some of our guides and past guests who can tell you first hand about our trips worldwide. We can answer any queries you may have about accommodation abroad, fitness, terrain, the bikes, and the likely travelling partners.

NORTH OF ENLAND MTB TOUR

A WEEKS WORTH OF GREAT BIKING!
Following on from the success of our weekend rides, we again offer the chance to bike many of our favourite trails back-to-back in 2006. Taking in the Lake District, Howgill Fells, and the Yorkshire Dales, we will be staying in good quality accommodation and have the benefits of vehicle back up. Non-biking partners are most welcome as there are plenty of walks and other attractions to keep them occupied.

Saturday October 11 to Sunday October 19 at a cost of £479 (8 nights - 8 days biking)

SAT/SUN

Biking our favourite trails in KENTMERE and AMBLESIDE Accommodation in Staveley ……Wilf’s Café is recommended at the days end!

MON/ TUES/WED

Following our ride on MONDAY evening we drive over to ORTON, which is between the Lake District Fells and the Howgill Fells .Our accommodation is in the village Inn The biking will be in Borrowdale, Wet Sleddale and, weather allowing ,Bowderdale which has an amazing singletrack !….and as ever there are tea shops aplenty!

THURSDAY

Allowing for a short drive over into Wensleydale, and our accommodation in ASKRIGG ,we have a choice of routes and should include a ride to CASTLE BOLTON…….and its tea shop !!

FRI/SAT/SUN

It’s a drive over the hill into Swaledale and onto Reeth and accommodation at the Black Bull Inn SWALEDALE has some of the North’s best biking and a few cracking tea shops to round off (punctuate !) each day. All in all a fabulous weeks biking.
